no good deed goes unpunished

It is going to snow here tonight. I really don't know what else to say about that.
I have plans with my friend Melissa R., not to be confused with my friend Melissa E. who lives in lovely Snyder New York and with whom I would love to have plans. Now Melissa R. has a habit of cancelling plans at the last minute. I am keeping my Saturday morning free for her and since I know that she reads the blog daily am using this forum to pre-shame her.
I have a confession to make. I frigging LOVE TV. I ran into my friend Lance last night at Lunds and we had a long conversation about how wonderful TV can be. I am wrapped up in so many shows this year that I can't find time for real people in my schedule. Here is a snapshot of my week: Prison Break, Heroes, Studio 60, Nip/Tuck, Jericho, Project Runway, the list goes on. Why must the people in the box have lives that are so wonderful and exciting? Well at least I am able to live vicariously through them instead of having to actually experience life.
Tonight I am giving my friend Al his 4 year medallion. He is one of my heroes, in real life.
