in case there's a change in the weather
Sometimes I am a little self absorbed, alright perhaps a little more often than “sometimes”
For example, when my friend and co-worker suffered through a seizure at work and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital the first thing I did was to call a friend and talk about the horrible experience I just had.
I received a very disjointed phone call from a different co-worker recently, I really thought for a moment that this person was drunk (they were not; they simply thought they had called another person). My first thought, “Great, now I am going to have to take on all of their work too!”
My good friend Mike called this morning from Heathrow airport, where due to terrorist threats security measures have been greatly heightened. My first thought, “ I hope this doesn’t create difficulties for work and ruin my weekend”
I think I am a bad person.
On a happier note, I am off to my friend Allie’s wedding this weekend. Is it a bad thing that I want people to notice how cute my seersucker suit is? Or to really rave over my gift?
Oh God, I am a bad person!

Speaking from someone who knew you when, you are a bad person. I will never forget the time you chases Maureen McCarthy around Mr. Casler's English Class and you Kissed her and he booted your ass out of class. Maureen kept spitting the rest of class! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
