wickedness must be punished

Tickets for Wicked here in Minneapolis go on sale today. What a wonderful birthday type gift these would make for someone. I just wish I knew someone whose birthday was say one week from today.

On a completely separate topic, my birthday is just one week from today. Hard to believe that I will be turning 40, it used to seem so old, still does at moments. I am trying to believe my friends who tell me that 40 is the new 30, but since they are mostly well past 40 it is losing a bit of credibility. My friend Scott was over last night and I got a little melancholy reflecting on the life that has brought me to this point and how my life differs from what my expectations had been. The reality is that my life is richer than anything I could have ever hoped for.

I have a lot of growing to do, I just learned that all over again.

I guess it's all relative. My life began at 49. That's when I got sober. Now I'm 52 and would not want to go back because life is better than ever.

I know quite a few guys in their late 30s, early 40s who look alot younger. While you can't stop the aging process, you can slow it down by keeping in shape, and not acting like an old man. Take a peek at my blog where I posted on two separate days photos of celebrities who are in their late 30s and look hot.
BTW, Have a great birthday

Have a great birthday! You're only as old as you feel--enjoy it!

I hope you get to see Wicked--it's an amazing show--it started here in SF and is one of my favorites.
