I'm so glad we had this time together

I have decided to put One Gay at a Time to bed, at least for a while. It really has reached a point where I don't have a whole lot to say, and the things I do want to talk about don't really belong here. Frankly updating the blog on a daily basis has become more of a burden than a pleasure, and it is time to explore other things. There may come a time when it is right to revisit this, but I can't say for sure.

This has been a wonderful experience. I have reconnected with old friends, and made new ones from around the world. I will continue to drop in on others and keep up to date.

I'll be seeing you.

Happy birthday...40....you made it. What a wonderful way to start a new chapter...losing weight, getting fit, meeting what sounds like a nice guy, and putting to bed the blog. Life goes on...
I for one am so very happy that you are a part of it.
You have all my love
Jeff

Jim,

Reading your blog has been a pleasure! I've gone through so many changes in the last year, and your insight played a role in helping me decide whether I want to stay insane or to open my mind/heart to the realities around and within me.

Take care of yourself! I hope to see you and Dan at Minnesober this year!

Brad :-)

Thanks for inviting us into your world. It is a good place to be. Your courage, strength of character and love for your fellow man (and woman) are demonstrated every day.

Know that you have touched folks through who you are. The integrity with which you live is always on display.

Thanks again. Your insight will be missed.

Darn. Just when I found you blog, it goes away.

Dang! It isn't like you didn't warn us this was coming... and I just suggested your blog to a newcomer at AALA last weekend as my favorite blog-of-a-gay-man-in-recovery...
Well, this will give you time to prepare for "One Day At A Time: The Podcast"... or whatever is in your future.

Crap! You were a fun read. I'll miss checking in...

Best of luck for your future.

wow. i'm just reading this post now. shows you just how well i keep up with those i hold so dear. baby, you will always have my complete and total respect and admiration. you're a wonderful man, and i suspect your decision to leave the blog world -- maybe if only for a brief while -- has its roots well established in a need to grow and change and become even better than you are. will you be missed? of course. will you keep tabs on us poor slobs who choose to bleed our lives into cyberspace? you better. will i wait for one gay at a time to relaunch someday? you bet. love you, mean it. - lonestarsteve
