plush velvet sometimes
Great morning at the gym, I am surprised at how much I am enjoying getting up at 5 and going to work out. It really does give me energy, at least through the first half of the day, sugar free red bull takes care of the rest.
There was a great thunderstorm here last night, parts of 494 were closed due to flooding. Things got so dramatic that Sven the weather guy on Kare 11 had to remove his coat to show how hard he was working! I had windows open in the kitchen and the thunderclaps scared the crap out of Henry and Frank, they would be all calm and each crack would send them first into the air, then dashing under the dining room table. I found their fear quite asuming. Actually it made me feel better about myself.
I have a couple of parties to go to this weekend. Being sober and having a primary circle of sober friends I find that I don't really go to alot of cocktail parties or really even parties with a cocktail party theme, but this weekend I am. I am looking forward to something different. I feel like it is going to be a great weekend.
