could it be a faded rose from days gone by

Change is good. Spring is definately arrived in Minnesota, the trees a busting out, flowers are up, the air smells fresh, things are good. I am digging going to the gym each morning, although after working upper body today please don't ask me to reach for anything over my head.

Yesterday at lunch, Mike F and I went for a walk through the neighborhood around our office. We stopped at the Basilica, which even stripped bare for lent is a spectacular thing to see. Cathedral Hill is really a beautiful neighborhood, one that has seen beeter days, but beautiful still. I get a little sad when grand old homes are split up into condos or apartments are become office buildings. I guess it is better to reuse then tear down. One of things that I love about St Paul is the wealth of old beautiful homes and neighborhoods, it reminds me of Buffalo and makes me feel at home.

I was excited to hear yesterday that I have an upcoming marketing trip to Dallas, I get to see my dear friend Brian, which is always a cause for celebration. I was also excited, in a different way, to get a phone call from a certain dorm dwelling 21 year old yoga instructor yesterday. Unfortunately, or possibly fortunately, I had an evening planned with a sponsee so I had to pass, but I was flattered, it is always nice to be lusted after, right.
