we only have tonight
My friend Mike, with whom I am staying with in South Beach picked the title for todays blog entry, unfortunately he continues to sing. Mike spotted a hot men's suit on the beach tuesdays( I will forward this entry by asserting Mike's constant claims to his own hetrosexuality, constant and a little pathetic). Back to the bathing suit, there was a man walking down the beach wearing a "bathing suit" that barely, just barely maintained his modesty. Mikes description of the suit was that it reminded him of a small velvet sack with a string closure, something you would store precious jewels in. It was a very small sack, apparently the man's sack was even smaller. I am very sorry to have missed this.
My trip down here was a bit of a nightmare, snowstorm in minneapolis, lost luggage, etc. But now things are great. We have been hanging out at the Delano Beach, where Mike's Dad keeps a room. I had a great dinner with my friend Frank, looked at a bunch of condo's with Mike yesterday, have hit a bunch of meetings...having a fantastic time. I saw Pat Fields and Chloe Dao on Franklin the other day and apparently saw the hip hop producer Pherrell at the Delano, so it has been a star studded trip too.
For a little variety in my life I went to a Boston Red Sox/ Baltimore Orioles Spring Training game in Ft Lauderdale yesterday. We were right behind the dugout, which was great because we, or at least I, got to spend a sunny afternoon looking at young baseball players as the scratched, spat and stretched. I love baseball.
Dinner tonight at Nobu, should be quite the experience. Round up over the weekend...good times
