I love Charles Aznavour. I used to work with this very dool Persian woman, Nadia, who turned me on to him. I had complete forgotten about his sound until recently and am now all about french jazzy folk music. It is amazing fun to sing along to music which I do not understand and am trying to sing in a hooked on phonics kind of way.
I have noticed, as my diet has change, that caffiene has a much greater effect on me. I have had a french press and am currently working on a 2 shot iced espresso and I AM FLYING! Sometime around 11 I will need a nap, but for now the race is on!

I was recently turned on to him by a certain gay icon known as Liza Minnelli (that's liza with a Z not lisa with an s)... if you happened to catch her "Inside the Actors Studio" she performed a song entitled "Quiet Love"... made me cry, as it did the host... also Liza sang a song of his on the glaad awards (not sure what year... but it's a bonus on the Liza with a Z DVD... called "What makes a man a man"... hot stuff!
