it's been a long hard lonely winter

There is a scene in the movie The Safety of Objects that grabbed me by the throat and yelled "LISTEN TO THIS" to me when I first saw it a few years back. Glenn Close is standing over the comatose body of her son, Joshua Jackson, who was seriously hurt in some type of accident. She is talking to the former girlfriend of her son and there is a flashback to the hospital shortly following the accident when Glenn is praying to God to keep her son alive. Back in the present, standing over the lifeless, but still living body of her son(whom she is shortly to sufficate) she cautions the young woman with her to be very careful what you pray for, God gives you exactly what you ask for. Kind of a Monkey's Paw moment, but it rings true.
Be careful what you pray for... thats my motto.
Second day of the firmfit, the novelty of getting up at 5:30 has already worn off a bit, but there is a growing fellowship in the group that will no doubt help keep me motivated.
Prison Break was on last night. It is wonderful, having my mondays with Wentworth back. I am not sure if you could tell, but it seems obvious to me that he missed me too.
One note on the above picture. Who put white laces on Steve Maddens? And does anyone wear them anymore?

5:30 am definitely wears thin quickly as I recall...
Re: the Steven Maddens... yes.. 10 year old girls with giant feet still wear them (and virtually all 10 year old girls have giant feet)
Re: Glenn Close smothering her son... did she do it because she kept remembering all the times that the little sh*t kept saying, "Hold ON!" or "In a MINUTE! GEEZ!" over and over?

Funny that you mentioned the Maddens, because that's the first thing I saw in the photo - sad, I know! I used to have a pair just like that. Sadly, they're long gone.
And what time is prison break on? I thought it was 8:00 and I couldn't find it anywhere!

Prison Break is on Fox at 8 pm est, 7 PM Central.

I'm on my 2nd or 3rd cup of coffee by 5:30am.
Some ARE sicker than others, eh?
It WAS obvious to me that you and Wentworth were happily back together. Strange that you mentioned that.

i love this line in your post :: "...but there is a growing fellowship in the group that will no doubt help keep me motivated." shouldn't that read :: "...but i'm really hot for at least 5 guys in the group, and i'm willing to wake up early each and every day just to see them and hopefully get down their pants." am i right?
