when you are as old as I my dear

It has just been pointed out to me that I am old enough to be the father of everyone in my office. In fact I am older then one persons father.
That's awesome, really it is.
no, really.

I have the prospect of my oldest nephew turning 18 this summer. I can't possibly be old enough to have a nephew old enough to vote. He is my twin sister's kid so if this whole gay thing hadn't happened and I had been true to my WV roots, I could have a son/daughter who was in their late teens/early 20's.
How the hell did that happen? I understand your pain.
