at times it may seem I don't stay, but I never go

Well I made it! I was thinking yesterday morning about the condition and circumstance in which I woke up 7 years ago on the first day of my sobriety. Without getting into all the ugly details let's just say that yesterday was a much nicer wake up.

Anniversaries are a time I find myself reflecting and yesterday was no different. My life is so rich and balanced today. I show up, for the most part, where and when I am supposed to, and in the shape I am supposed to be. I have friends I can trust and count on and who can trust and count on me. That is a huge gift in my sobriety, having the ability to be present for the people I care about.

I have a relationship with my family, this is just huge!

I don't want to gush on, let's just say that life today is so much better than I ever cold have hoped. Thank you to everyone who touches my life.

That said, I thought the commercials during the superbowl sucke and what was with the stones...just sad. Although I was at an amazing party. Thanks again Billy!

Congratulations Jim ... thanks for the daily inspiration and the great example of what working the program, believing, and surrendering will do for a person in life. Seriously.
