wrap it up and charge it, that's my favorite phrase

OK, the title line is cheating a little, but it is Kander and Ebb and I love it.

My friend and old roommate, Scott came over for dinner last night. We don't get to spend alot of time together so it was good to hang out. It was a litlle unsettling though, every story I started to tell him, every update in my life he already knew about from reading the blog. When he came into the house he said, oh the flowers are pretty and do go well with the monochromatic style. disturbing.

Katie Couric had a mamogram on the Today show this morning.(I wonder how many people will end up here after that google search) It was rather funny when during a pre-x-ray adjustment she turned to the nurse and said you could have at least bought me dinner. Joking aside, if you read my blog and you have breast please get them examined. Thus ends my public service announcement in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

The weekend is upon us and once again I have more things planned then there are hours in a day. The Minnesota GLBT Roundup, Minnesober, starts tonight and runs through Sunday. In addition to being there, I have dinner plans tonight, a housewarming party tomorrow, work at the gym on Sunday, have to do laundry and clean my bathrooms, take down air conditioners, put up storm windows, bring out winter clothes(it was 32 degrees when I left the house this morning) and find time to spend with some friends I have not been connecting with lately.

Yeah, I am sure I will get that list completed.

Oh, I need to relax and rest too.

And there is the sober house meeting on Sunday night.

And Jason gets home on Sunday and wants to get together, which I do too.

I am already tired, but smiling. Who said that sobriety would be boring?

I LOVE the music from Funny Lady. That soundtrack was so under-rated, in my opinion.

Gee how lucky can ya,
Wee how lucky can ya,
Wow how lucky can ya get?
