planning your day around the parking
It is nice to be back in the routine of my life. I like my life, which is certainly a change from when I was using.
My plans to see Capote last night fell through, I had forgotten that I had a commitment after my meeting last night, so I had to reschedule. So last night I sat in my backyard, a fire in my new firepit drinking cocoa and reading from the Big Book with Al. It was great.
The little bodega near work is called the AA market, there is no connection to Alcoholics Anonymous, but we do get to giggle whenever someone goes to AA during the day. We are a simple folk.
A month from now I will be in Houston for their round up. I am looking forward to seeing Houston for the first time, meeting a bunch of Houston bloggers and finally seeing my friend Steve's place on Galveston island.
