This morning was a typical minnesota autumn morning. There are leaves all over the ground, the sky is overcast, it is around 60, and the smell of people's furnaces operating is still new. I saw groups of kids waiting for school buses and smiled at new backpacks and school clothes.
Driving over the Mississippi there is a mist hanging over the river and trees up and down the banks are changing color. This really is my favorite time of year.
Have I mentioned I need a new sofa? More coming on that later.
