commiting suicide in Buffalo is redundant

OK, so that is dialogue from a Broadway show, not a lyric. Sue me.

The past few days have really been a whirlwind. Yesterday I went to visit my folks and then to see my godmother, who has been in a nursing home for the past few years. It was a difficult visit, sad, my mom has battled ms for about 12 years and it has taken it's toll on her, and my father. i was very very grateful to find an AA meeting that was starting right as I was leaving, and even more grateful that I found sobriety in Minneapolis.

I have spent the day with my friend Wayne, who was my English teacher in high school. It is good to see him. Wayne is almost a second father, the man who taught me, among other things, that being gay was alright and that I did not have to let it define me. These were good lessons.

It's always great to spend time with family while you have the chance.
