Half day of work today, yeah, that's right, half day woohoo!!
No work monday, thank you revolutionary forefathers!!! 3 and a half day weekend that's what I'm talking about, life is good yup!
Well, now that I have all of that out of system. Wow, I am in a great mood this morning.
I went to see War of the Worlds last night with my buddy Colin. It was really exciting, dark, but really cool. Lots of stuff blew up, you have got to love that. After the movie we walked from Block E to Veras for a cup of joe. Right by the Walker an early 30 something guy in a suit, carrying a gap bag just got of a cab at a light. He was really drunk, stumbling and started to complain that the cabbie had thrown him out. Then he stumbled right out into traffic and across Hennepin(for those of you outside the twin cities, Hennepin near the Walker is a four lane major traffic area). Colin and I watched, a little horrified, a little curious as he made it safely to the other side. God watches over drunks.
I remember, well at least I remember parts, of days like that. I was a big fan of the midweek after work obliterating drunken evening. Fan may not be the right word, but it was a place I found myself often. I was grateful that I have not found myself there in a long time.
I may not be posting this weekend, so have a great holiday everyone. For those of you who are not american, have a great weekend.
You know what they call the Fourth of July in England?

I am a daily reader of your blog. I will admit, the pictures may have a tiny bit to do with it, but your writing is great as well.
However, I often sit here wondering...what the hell do these guys eat? Or do they eat?
It reminds me of that Golden Girls episode where Blanche dates her aerobics instructor and he orders a Watercrest Salad with orange slices for dinner. I'm sorry but honey-child must have been hungry.
I'm just glad there are people in the world willing to eat Bee Pollen so I can look at them while I'm having my big ol' piece of cheesecake!
