wednesday morning
Ran into an old "friend" at a meeting last night. We used together a lot and spent a good deal of time doing the things that two men using meth together do(and I am not talking about cleaning).
I don't spend much time with people that I used with, most of them are either still using, or dead. He is in treatment now, and I wish him the best, but don't really want to have him be a big part of my life. This may sound a little selfish, but I need to take care of my own sobriety first, right.
Other than that, great night last night. My friend Colin was feeling a little blue, so he came over and chatted for a while, then crashed in the guest room. I like having space to havce people come over.
Hazelden is offering a Lesbian/Gay Celebration of Recovery Retreat I think I may take a weekend and do this. Anyone want to join me?
