Rainy Days and Tuesdays Always Get Me Down
I am really getting tired of this damp dreay cold weather. My goal of forcing summer is becoming harder and harder. Today I had to wear long pants! And a sweater! What is up with that. Someone please do something about the lousy weather, it is getting me down.
I was sitting at Vera's Coffee Shop with my friend Linus last night. There was a guy at the table next to us who was pretending to read a book, glancing around the room, turning the pages without actually looking at the book, it was quite amusing. Anyhow, we started talking and he was explaining how his life works to me. He had gone to treatment in October, didn't really like AA ( I never get that) and had ended up shooting meth and passing out on city buses while living with his 72 year old father.
Now, THAT is living!
You can definately add that one to my gratitude list.
Speaking of Gratitude, my friend Steve called, sleeping in his truck was not as awesome as he had thought it would be. I am working to find a treatment program for him.
