Lindsay makes ammends

I am really proud of my co-worker Lindsay. Growing up can suck, and I am hardly one to ever make comments about the way anyone handles their finances. However I overheard Lindsay cancelling a credit card today and have to applaud her honesty with the person on the phone.

Target Visa Representative: " And why are you choosing to cancel your card today?"

Lindsay: "Because I suck at having a credit card"

My hat is off to you Lindsay, keep up the great work.

If anyone has entertaining paying your bills stories to pass along to Lindsay post them, she needs all the support she can get.

That's awesome for Lindsay! The last time I called to close a credit card account after paying it off, they offerred to double my spending limit and bring the APR down to 7%. I thought about it for about a grand total of .01 seconds and screamed, "OMG, yes!"

Way to Go -- Lindsey !!!!!
I have been without a Credit Card for 2 years now, for basicly the same reason. I suck at paying-off credit. (My student loans are debt enough.) I prefer to work on a "cash only" basis. I'm not quite as cute/elegant as Ms. Golightly, but maybe it'll land me a Mr. Varjak. (A boy can hope can't he?) Till then I'll be singing "Moon River" in the style of Morrissey.
