Gov. Pawlenty has a really
Gov. Pawlenty has a really great idea.
He wants to take away state health care from adults who do not have
children, telling them that they should get jobs that have benefits or
private pay until the reach poverty level! How could anyone suggest a
program that works to keep people poor? Ugh.

Well, those are my choices, if the Academy is listing. I was really struck by the blandness of the Oscar nominees this year. I am not excited about any of the movies that came out this past year. The only possible exception was Closer, which was sadly overlooked (except for Clive Owen and Natalie Portman).
