Nothing But Harassment
That's Josh, or at least a headshot of Josh showing him off at his very best. So I have been thinking this morning about body piercing. I remember a few years ago I was toying with the idea of getting a nipple pierced. Then the whole debate of which nipple, and what does each one represent, and am I really willing to lock myself into one role or another. Heaven knows when I decide one I am usually forced into the other anyway. I finally elected to not get a piercing, fear of loss of sensitivity and a love of finely woven sweaters help in the final process.
I have friends who have shown me their piercings, nippular and otherwise. I worry about chipping teeth and highly unfortunate infections. I guess my body modification is limited to my tattoo-
I even made sure that I got it around my ankle so the "sag factor" wouldn't be too great as I age. I gave a lot of thought to what my tattoo would be. I had considered getting a Calvin and Hobbes, but than I saw an old man at the beach with a beetle bailey on his saggy bicep and tossed that idea out.
I pierced my ears in the eighties, one in the right, two in the left. Out side of Halloween, when I had to re-pierce them, I have not worn even an earring in years. Maybe I am just too conservative, but such is life.
