Undertow
Went to see Undertow at the Lagoon tonight. Amazingly beautiful film. Jamie Bell, who you all remember as Billy Elliot, does a great job, and is becoming quite the young man. The story is gripping, the images are beautiful and I have to tell you that it is not lacking in the eye candy department, with Josh Lucas and Dermont Mulroney. A niceinvestment of 8 dollars.
As I was walking home from the movie, I live in Uptown over near Lake Calhoun, I was hit up for change by a homeless person walking down a residential street. Now, I am all about helping people out, I feel it is our responsibility. However, I am getting aggravated by people spare changing and "signing". Holding a sign up and asking for change is now a verb.
