LIARS

I think it is very funny that the Bush campaign is all up in moral arms about the CBS false report. Liars and thieves are always the first ones to point out other liars and thieves, aren't they?

Bingo A Go Go tonight,

Bingo A Go Go tonight, good times!

I ran into a couple of people at the event who I have not seen in a few years. One I was very happy to see, the other not so much. Lets not spend too much time on the one I don't like. Well alright, a minute or two. Years ago I dated this guy Matt, he was a really great guy and I was heavily into my addiction. He had enough sense to walk away at that time. He had this asshole friend Scott, who I apparent hold a resentment towards. Scott is the one I saw.

Now for the good one. I ran into Tom, a cutie who I had a crush on about 6 years ago. He has just returned to the Cities, and seemed happy to see me. We exchanged numbers and are getting together for coffee. So things are good.

Frank the cat

Frank the cat is biting my hand, as usual, but at least he is not a 400 lb white tiger right? There is always a silver lining. I am still getting over my cold, sucks being sick. I will be glad when this has passed.

My roommate moves out next week, I have already started to plan for the space that he will be vacating. More closet space, total control over where things go, those are all very cool. Total responsibilities for the bills, all the cleaning, these are not as exciting. You have to give to get, right?

I hate being sick

I hate being sick, and boy oh boy am I sick today. Headache, sick to my stomach, feverish, all around unpleasant.

I had a great time in Chicago, I am thinking about moving there. Met Stephan Sondheim, although he would not let me take a picture. The production of Sunday in the Park with George was good, not my favorite show to start with, but I enjoyed it. I felt at home walking around Chicago, very much an East Coast vibe. Rent is about the same as Minneapolis, and do I love the Irish boys.

Speaking of Irish boys, I met this adorable guy at a party Sunday night. He looks like Paul Rudd, I am calling him this afternoon, so wish me luck.

Heartattack

Just finished packing, off to Chicago in about 20 minutes.

My friend Kelly is in Florida, according to her single handedly evacuating the state. Niceplace to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

I was all excited to turn on the Today show this morning and hear Lester talking about the Presidents heart problems, until I realized that it was the WRONG president. Let's keep President Clinton in our prayers, while continuing to pray for the defeat of bush. Of course, we all need to do more then just pray, let's all get our asses out to the polls this year and vote!

Windy City

I am going to chicago this weekend to see a staged reading of Sunday in the Park with George featuring Patti Lupone and Audra McDonald. Stephen Sondheim will be speqking before the production. Mark my words, there WILL be pictures posted next week ok me with Sondheim and Lupone. Oh yes there will. I am also going to be able to spend some time with my old friend Bryan.

The last year or so I have spent alot of time reconnecting with people in my life that I had lost during my using. There really are nothing like old friends.
