The weekend is here again!

The weekend is here again!

I actually have sunday off and am going to a fundraiser for my old friend Gary Schiff, who is running for re-election to the Minneapolis City Council. I have known Gary since he was in high school and I organized an ACT UP rally at his school. I have always been impressed with his integrity and focus.

I am spinning again today at the Firm, I really did not think I was going to enjoy this spinning thing, but was wrong. It is a huge rush, all the endorphins. I end up feeling as if I really had an honest work out. I may even end up hitting a dance floor Saturday night.

I have not been out in about a month, and I do have a new bed to break in.

What do Breeders think?

"If your butt is bigger then your boyfriends, than you know you have problems"

-Dan K.

OK, so I don't pretend to understand straight people, and as long as they(well the girls) don't try to have sex with me I think they are harmless. BUT, what is it with really hot straight guys and their large bottomed unattractive girlfriends?

Dan and I were at Chilpotle on Hennepin after an average saturday morning. You know the drill, get a latte, check out the deals at the Room and Board outlet, a couple hours at the gym, and there we were, minding our own Christian business, watching the boys passing by, and just dumb struck at all these hot guys with their plain jane girls.
Is there no God? I ask you that.

So, if anyone can fill me in on this, let me know.

I, Robot

I smell an Oscar nomination for this film. Well for Will Smith's personal trainer. Dear God that man has an AMAZING body, rocking. It is worth the price of admission to watch him shower, and thats a good thing because the movie sucked.

Speaking of sucking, Macaroni Grill, and that's all I have to say about that.

Thank You Micheal Moore

Went to see Farenheit 911 tonight. Really amazing, now if I can only get my Dad to see it. Well I did convince him to vote for Hillary Clinton, and he seems to be jumping on the Kerry bandwagon ( although he has problems with John Kerry taking communion after being divorced).

Had dinner at Blimini Bay tonight with a bunch of co-workers. Good food, good friends. Long day tomorrow, so off to bed.

How exciting I finally have

How exciting I finally have my own website. Now what? The title for this page came from a unaccepted theme for a glbt in recovery gathering. I thought it would add a little humor to the event. Not everyone agreed and we are going with "Living Sober, Living Free".

Not that I am bitter, but it sounds like a bad prom theme. Even so, I am looking forward to Minnesober, as it is called. Lots of queer recovering people come from all over Minnesota and the country.

IKEA opens this week, finally I can get that kjornseberdg lamp.

I need a day off.

I need a day off.

Exciting news about the Kerry campaign, John Edwards should help include the South. Good choice I think.

I took a spin class at the Firm yesterday. What a blast! So much fun that I almost didn't realize that I was sweating my ass off. Now if we can just get Dan to set down his smokes for an hour he could join in.

That would be a challenge, Dan.

Franka Chianti Desmond

Just ended a phone call with my OLD friend Frank. We both got sober around the same time, independently of each other. It is always nice to chat with old friends and tell old war stories.

I had to fire some people this week, so my entire weekend will be work. At least I will be busy. This is always a lousy weekend for me anyway, better to be out of my head.

I really want to see the Notebook, I need a good date flick, hell I need a good date (any takers)
